Seeing friends and colleagues become new parents is one of the greatest things ever...especially for someone already missing the newborn phase of her own little one (ahem...me). (OH and seeing adorable nurseries is pretty awesome too. I am a giant sucker for an adorable nursery! This one is CRAZY cute! I mean it has its own birdhouse...must I say more??) Being welcomed in to my friends/clients homes during those first few weeks of parenthood is truly an honor and being allowed to capture the CRAZY love they have for their little ones is something I will never take for granted. Seeing the joy a new baby brings is pretty special. :)
Jason and Allison are two, so-in-love teachers that could not have been more excited to meet their little man. Their adorable pooch, Luca, was already totally on board with his big brother/guard dog duties too. They just needed Evan to arrive! :) Once he did, he brought even more love in to their lives...less sleep...but so much more love!! :)
I LOVED all the books in his nursery (Allison and I are both HUGE book people.), and the endless amount of sweet details. Allison is also an incredible gardener (something I am NOT! ha), so we had to make sure to get some great pictures outside with some of her blooms. A baby and hydrangea? Yes, please! :) I also loved how she had so many plants in E's nursery too...such great air purifiers and make the space so warm and cozy!
Just loved everything about capturing these sweet, natural, newborn moments for two wonderful people! Also love that Evan and my little guy will be in the same grade!! :) How cool is that? Oh, and did I mention they live like three minutes from us? Future best buddies! I can see bike riding to visit each other in their future! (If kids still ride bikes by then...please let kids still ride bikes!!! haha)
Enjoy meeting sweet baby Evan! I know I did! :) Can't believe how much he has grown since then! Been such a pleasure watching this smiley little boy grow!
Looking forward to many more years of capturing Evan's smiles!! (And hopefully...all of us getting more sleep! ;) Someday!)
